'ADELAIDE'

After seeing the Grampians we finally arrived in Adelaide. All the lads found it very boring from the start. Not me, but after about a day I agreed.

We stayed at a caravanpark at West Beach. It was a good one, many facilities and next to a beach as well. Slept in a tent with Rob again as always. It was great having him around, a top bloke. How the fuck are you now mate?...

The bloke who was about to help us (a friend of Pete the Nomad) worked at the Government. Man, we phoned him and he was there in 5 minutes. Then we went to a pub first for a beer and instead of joining us for the registration he stayed at the pub though he was still working (...?...). He wasn't worth anything for us actually but that did not really matter, it was funny.

I remember Adelaide especially for buying the embrace single 'Come Back To What You Know', maybe the best thing that have happened over there. Top band, regret I didn't buy more singles from them... (actually I bought their new album today 'If You Have Never Been'... already love it!...)
The town itself was a bit to straight and stuff, I mean, straight streets, missed a bit of an atmosphere...

We were about to stay for 7 days. Rob flew back to Brisbane at day 6 for his court appeal. Long story but it was nothing special. Wasn't convicted or anything...

We had a very good time with Rob. He was a great laugh. He was like one of us and we experienced some funny things altogether...

We left the same day, it was so boring... we decided to drive ourself. We had no time to find someone and it was all straight driving in the desert. Johan had the first shift, so we were off to the Outback...
