<<<<<previous 'BLUE
MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK' We left Sydney for the first time to see the Blue Mountains. the girls organised it and we thought it would be alright. We went with a few people from our origional crew and Menno. We went by train. It took us about 3,5 hours for a little bit of money. Imagine that in Holland... The town where we stayed was Katoomba, the 'capital' of the Blue Mountains. It seemed another world. It was a lot colder and people were wearing hats and scarves. It was more like the alps and I didn't expect that.
First thing we did was going to the see the Blue Mountains. It was beautiful. You can't find this beauty in Holland. All this beautiful wildlife full of parrots and all those eucalytus trees... and especially the scenery.
We paid a visit to the famous Three Sisters and had a bushwalk which was great. After a visit at Katoomba Falls we went up with the steepest railway in the world. That was funny, but you don't want to sit in front of anybody who's feeling sick...
We
stayed in a nice hostel, it was actually more like a lodge, the Katoomba
Mountain Logde.
Our
breakfast was (again) the bakery across the street. There was also a public
library where you could use the internet for free for half an hour. A
manner was set by that...
