<<<<<previous 'CAPE TRIBULATION NATIONAL PARK' Emma, an English girl we met in Cairns, joined us for the trip to Cape Tribulation. Another preference before the start of the journey. The road to it was beautiful, amazing scenery along the coast again. Only the circumstances were a bit less nice. Lost a few things again, including my camera. That was a real shame. Left it on the rooftop along with a longsleeve, as so many other things before this one. It happened at Mossman Gorge where we went for a swim that afternoon. A nice place. I drove back that night but it was no good...
At Cape Tribulation I met a German girl and an Australian bloke who lived in a aborigional community and spent a night with them and native aborigionals. It was great! Although quite drunk again they were very nice. One of them even played a dutch-based song... We also met Jurgen with his girlfriend. The bloke we met before in Jugiong, near Ayer's Rock, Katherine and Cairns. It would even got more scary. After a few other times in Australia I met him later on in New Zealand in the middle of nowhere...
Cape Tribulation is a real paradise. Beatiful rainforest an great views. Only a shame that we couldn't swim because of stingers. But I don't tell anything more about it. Just go yourself...
On the way back we weren't much approved by the drving skills of Emma. The gascable broke down so we couldn't make it to the top for a 'said-to-be-top-view' at Port Douglas. But Emma, thanks anyway...
