'EAST COAST QUEENSLAND'

As we left Airlie Beach, the Viking was the only travelcompagnon who was left. We drove quite a while with not much happening. The coast between Airlie Beach and Fraser Island must be the most boring of Queensland.

We visited a zoo at Rockhampton which was ok. As well as several McDonalds where we got free refills again. I think we saved at least a hundred dollars by that...

Then we finished our round near Childers, at the place where we were picking lemons. We drove the way we did everyday when we worked there. It was a funny feeling, compared with being the person over there 5 months before. Quite a lot happened. Great things as I must say though...
Passed the campsite where we stayed in Childers. How are you Gary (the owner...), I think it was .

Then we got to Hervey Bay, gateway to Fraser Island. Erik was doubting whether to stay or come with us. He travelled along. Saw the first dolphin at Tin Can Bay and played a game of soccer for about the first time since I left home at a local soccerclub in Maryborough, which was good fun.

Then we finally ended up in Brisbane...
