'GIRRAWEEN NATIONAL PARK'

As we were in Stanthorpe, we paid a visit to The Granite Belt of Girraween National Park. I didn't expect that to be near Stanthorpe the first time we arrived.

It's a very 'Rocky' up here. A lot of big stones. As we were walking to the Granite Belt we saw our second snake in Wildlife and it it was just after all these months. It was not a big one. So it ain't so dangerous in Australia with all those snakes and reptiles...

The Granite Belt is like it's name. It's like a big pile of Rocks. It looks massive. As we were approaching it, we saw how huge it was. Once we got there it was a big and hot walk to the top. Mike didn't even manage as he had backproblems...

On top you had a superb view. You could see trees for miles.

There was also this funny Balancing Rock where we had some fun...

..

There was this other huge rock in front of us which looked a bit different than the others.

After a nice day at this park we got back to Stanthorpe to our 'lovely house'...
