<<<<<previous 'MELBOURNE' Melbourne
is a nice city. Nice gardens and then there are the trams where the citysans
are very fond off as well as the Japanese...
We stayed at the Toad Hall hostel, the biggest of Australia. We slept in a dormroom for the amount of 24 people. Was the first hostel we slept in since the Homestead in Brisbane! Quite funny actually, all the time in between we spent the night different.
We visited the gardens and the Shine of Rememberence, went to see the 'Egypt story' at the IMAX and got ourselves pissed in the Roobar downstairs or somewhere else...
We also went to the Dandenong Ranges, just outside Melbourne. A popular place to get out of the big city. We paid a visit to the William Ricketts Sanctuary. That man was a sculptor who made some beautiful sculptures from the combination of stone and wood.
After a stay for about a week we were off to see the Great Ocean Road... At last...
