'PORT MACQUIRIE'

After visiting the beautiful Seal Rocks we got to Port Macquirie where we stayed in another nice hostel, think the best till then: Lindel Prot Macquirie Backpackers.

Every morning we had fresh fruit for free that we must eat and were not allowed to resist. It was the first time we cooked ourselves. Well not really cooked yet, but made our own breakfast and that after 2 months...

It was about the first couple of times we had to wash our clothes as well in a laundrette. Yes that is life without a mother who washes your clothes all the time. But we managed. They all said to keep white and colours seperated but it perfectly fits together (though not in New Zealand it seems...).

We went canoying through the mangroves to Pelican Island and back. That was nice, never seen trees like that. It was a pity we didn't see a flipper.
Also visited Billabong Koala Park nearby.

It's a quiet little town, nice for a little stopover...
