Alright, let's start off ...
A little history :
Johan, Joost, Raphaël and Rudy met and became friends during their years at Highschool.
It became clear that they had a certain thing is common : Wanting to travel around the see the world.
First stop had to be Australia.
Unfortunately Raphaël couldn't come as he was allowed to start off his Medicin course straight away ...
Poor fella ...
The idea never left him though and one day during a train holiday through Southern Europe
he told his mates about his plan to go to South America halfway through his studeis.
Joost, Johan and Rudy were on Uni and Joost decided not to come ...
Johan and Rudy we're well interested and decided to take a little Sabatical to give this one a go.
 So they're we were on the November 1st 2001 on Schiphol Airport early hours to start it all off ...
Raaf [Raphaël] and Johan had taken some basic Spanish courses, Rudy did not find (or simply did not take) time for that.
We did not have a big plan neither.
We just wanted to go to see Machu Picchu, so that meant Peru and probably Bolivia as we heard it was the most beautiful country of the Continent ...
