But what happened afterwards ?...
Let's start with Rudy ...
Rudy
Rudy had to be back in Lima chance his returnflight or in the worst case, to catch his flight on the 14th ...
He went back for the night in La Paz to catch the bus to Cusco.
Appearantly it was a really nice trip, although taking 12 hours.
He also wanted to pay this one last visit and maybe see some old friends.
From there he got himself a flight on the morning of the 13th, because if there were going to be complications with flight,
he would be f**ked ...
Back in Lima he had to go back to the agency on the 14th.
He couldn't change his tickets, not the destination and neither the date.
So he found out that he was leaving only about 12 hours later ...
After seeing an old friend and a latest classic taxiride,
he left the country on the night of the 14th of January, after spending 75 days on this beautifull journey ...
Johan
Johan spent all the rest of this time with Raaf.
After Sorata they went back to La Paz to head towards Santa Cruz.
Strikes we're starting to get bigger and they encountered some scary moments.
From Santa Cruz they wanted to cross over to Brasil, to take an Amazone boattrip to Manaus.
They spent 2 days on the airport but there was no movement.
Finally they got back westward and found themselves in ... (Argentine).
From there they went to ... (Paraguay), appearantly the most boring place and country on earth.
From there they crossed to this boattrip.
After Manaus they descended south along the coast and had their Carnaval party in ...
Right then Johan thought it was enough and decided to go back to his girlfriend back home.
Raphael
Same as Johan ofcourse, but he did not go home yet.
He visited some relatives in Sao Paolo and got himself to this island where he stayed for a while and developed his surfing skills.
But for him too, this journey was ending.
He got back to Amsterdam, where his mates awaited him at the airport ...
And the whole journey started again as it was talked over ...
